Twelve animals for the Chinese New Year

For Louis Vuitton's 2020 Chinese New Year, I designed and drew the twelve animals of the Chinese zodiac, and carried their design through the validation rounds with the client. Each watch face pairs an animal with a Louis Vuitton product in a short loop.

I animated most of the characters in Cinema 4D and had a lot of fun giving them life, from the drawings to the playful way each animal plays with its product. Rémi Loger animated the rat, Jerome Levilly, Rémi and Pompidou handled the modeling, and Wipix took care of the rigging.
