3D stop-motion animation

We treated the main title like a traditional stop-motion film, animated frame by frame but in 3D. Every frame was sculpted by hand, as if the letters were real plasticine. Thomas Charier took the art direction, storyboard, modeling and animation, and I led the creative direction of the package and built its look.

Custom modeling-clay 3D material

I built a tailor-made plasticine shader in Arnold, with organic displacement and random fingerprints, so the 3D letters really read as modeling clay.

Broadcast design package

The package also included animated and still visuals for the show: transitions, bumpers, recipe cards, credits and more.
