Chinese New Year Campaign: 3D Visuals and Animations

Biotherm Homme’s 2025 Chinese New Year campaign was made with PRTL Paris. The agency set the creative direction for the year of the Snake, down to the “Reveal Your Inner Champion” line. From there I built the visual concept and art direction of the digital world around Biotherm’s iconic wave, and handled the lighting and compositing, with the team building the key visuals and 3D films alongside me.

Digital Stadium and Pattern Design

Everything grew from Biotherm’s wave. I built a procedural pattern from it in Cinema 4D, one system I could drive and reshape, and it became the through-line of the whole campaign. It forms the roof of the digital stadium, a modern take on the wave that also reads as the snake’s skin. For the products, I designed a contemporary podium, sleek metal under vivid neon light, to keep the look futuristic and bold.

Gift Box Design

I designed the campaign’s gift box on the same foundation, reusing the procedural pattern in a more graphic way, with a transition running between the brand’s colours. Stadium and box come from one system, which ties the whole campaign together.
