Art of Gifting

Overview

For Christmas, Messika wanted a 3D film around the art of gifting: a magical factory where their jewelry comes together. I directed the film and set its art direction, shaping the overall look, and handled most of the camera work and the editing.

Samuel Fiser designed, rigged and animated the mechanisms at the heart of the film. The team built the factory and the pieces in 3D (Samuel Fiser, Morgane Costantini, Ophélie Massot), Jérémy Reveniaud ran the simulations, and I did the shading with the team along with the lighting and compositing.
