Kérastase Chronologiste Reveal
A series of 3D films revealing Kérastase's new Chronologiste line, from the product films to the campaign packshots.
Overview
Kérastase asked me for a series of short 3D films to reveal the new Chronologiste line. I directed the series and led the team, managing the project and coordinating every department, from modeling and simulations to compositing.
The series covers the whole launch: the product films, a range film, a closer look at the new serum, and a packshot animation that closes the campaign films. They all share the same black set and gold lighting, so any of them can sit next to another in the campaign.
The product films
The Bain and the Masque open the series, followed by the Night Serum. Each product gets its own film, so it can be used on its own while keeping the look of the whole line: the same black set, the same gold light. The range film then brings everything together in one short loop.
Inside the Longevity Concentrate
The new serum, Longevity Concentrate, got a closer reveal. A camera can't go inside a bottle, but in 3D the film can follow the formula itself: through the liquid and its bubbles, then up the pipette, in macro shots built on liquid simulations. The stills come from the same scenes.
Packshots for the campaign
The 2026 Chronologiste campaign films also needed a closing packshot. I made one reveal, the products rising out of black pearls on a marble set, and adapted it into four versions for the different products. Each is a 4-second shot that can close any film of the campaign.
